Payment / Dispatch
There are several options available to buy your goods with Ruby and Kitty. You can pay using –
- a credit card or debit card
- through a Paypal account
- a bank transfer
Prices in Euro and US Dollar
You can access the price of all goods in our webstore in Euros or Dollars.
Please note, all payments processed by Ruby and Kitty through our secure payment gateway (Total Web Solutions) will be taken in British Pounds Sterling. The Euro or Dollar prices you see are given as assistance and must be treated as an approximation. We at Ruby and Kitty update the exchange rate of both the Euro and US Dollar currencies each day (12:00 GMT) on our automated currency convertor. However the rate you are eventually charged by your credit /debit card organization or bank may vary depending on the conversion rate your credit organization /bank utilize and any commission or fees they may apply. In case of doubt in this regard please contact your bank or credit supplier and enquire as to the exact conversion rate.
If you wish to pay by bank transfer we request you pay in pounds sterling making sure you pay for any commission or fees included in the transaction.
You can either use your regular Paypal account or alternatively pay with a credit or debit card through the Paypal payment gateway. To use this service you can either a) checkout directly using the Paypal button or b) checkout through the checkout process.

Bank Transfer (also known as bank wire)
You can choose to pay us through your bank. Either you can ask the bank to make the payment for you or you can make the payment yourself through internet banking or telephone banking. Please note, you must pass through the Checkout process in order for all your relevant details to be taken (size, colour number of articles; shipping address etc) and for the article(s) to be reserved in our system for you.
Please note, we will reserve the article(s) you wish to purchase for one calendar week. If after one week no payment has entered our business bank account, we will return the article to the webstore and offer it for sale again.
Please make sure you enter the reference number when you make your bank transfer. This will enable us to locate your order quickly and easily and thereby help get your Ruby and Kitty purchase shipped promptly.
You can choose to pay us by cheque via the checkout process. This is the slowest method of making your purchase (you send it, we take it to our bank and wait for it to clear).
Make all cheques out to ‘Ruby and Kitty Ltd.’ and make sure to write your reference number on the back of the cheque.

Delivery & Returns
Ruby and Kitty recognize that when you order your beautiful clothes or shoes from us you will want to receive them as quickly as possible. We will at all times endeavor to deliver your goods as quickly as possible using standard shipping.
Ruby and Kitty offer free delivery on the following:
within the UK on all orders equal or greater than £100
within the EU on all orders equal or greater than €116
any other country with orders greater than the equivalent of £100
Standard shipping costs for the UK are a one off £3 fee
Standard shipping costs for the EU are a one off €6 fee
Shipping outside of UK or EU
Please note for shipping to destinations outside the UK or EU there are different requirements and/or limitations depending upon the country of destination. Amongst others this may mean you are liable for import duty or customs clearance.
Standard shipping costs outside of UK or EU are a one off £8 fee
Express delivery (UK only!)
Special delivery with Royal Mail costs £6
Delivery time is next working day (delivery between 9am-6pm) placing your order before our 2pm cut-off time Mon-Fri. Please note this does not include Saturday delivery.
Ruby and Kitty’s standard couriers are Royal Mail, City Link, TNT, World Parcel Service and Fedex. However Ruby and Kitty reserve the right to use any established courier service as we see fit.
Standard delivery within
- the UK usually means delivery times of between 1- 3 working days
- in Europe usually means delivery times of between 3-5 working days
- USA and other countries usually means 4-6 working days
Method of Delivery
The courier will employ standard means of delivery. He will try to deliver to the purchaser. If the purchaser is not available then he may try to leave with a neighbour or return to the local depot with the goods. You then may have to pick up the goods from your local delivery depot.
The courier will always request the printed name, signature and address of the recipient.
If the goods or quantity which you receive are not as you ordered due to our error then you should inform us by telephone, email or letter using the contact details described under Contact as soon as possible after you receive the goods and become aware of the error. We will make good any error. We will also reimburse to you any delivery costs which you incur in sending the incorrect goods back to us. Any Goods which you receive in error and intend to return should not be used by you.
Order Tracking (except for UK!)
You can track your order from dispatch to arrival at your home. We will send you a tracking number (URL link) in the confirmation email.
Generally, Ruby and Kitty will accept you returning your goods if you so wish within 28 days. The 28 day period counts from the day of receipt to the day of return dispatch.
To return your goods – for whatever reason - you must inform us in writing (including e-mail but not by telephone) that you wish to do so. You must complete a Return Form which you are requested to complete and return with the package.
Please note clearly on the return form how you want us to proceed with your return. You may want to either:
- receive the same item is a different size, colour, style etc
- exchange for a different item amounting to the value of the item(s) returned
- receive your money back
If we receive a returned garment outside of the 28 day exchange period we reserve the right to return the item to you without it being refunded.

Please make sure you return the goods by registered post. Ruby and Kitty cannot accept liability for any goods which are lost in transit.
The goods are to be returned in an unsoiled condition with all labels attached. For this reason it is advisable when trying on items of clothing, to ensure that your children are not wearing perfume / or deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item.
Please note, Ruby and Kitty do not store any of your payment details e.g. credit card, debit card, etc and so must be able to contact you again if you request your money back. Please ensure you leave your contact details when you inform us about your return and on the return form.
Damage goods must be notified to us within two days.
If the item you received is faulty, please contact customer care (on telephone - 0161 637 9557 (international +44 161 637 9557) or email email@example.com) quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. You have 28 days from receipt of the faulty item to return it to us.
Ruby and Kitty will only refund the items where requested when we have received the goods at our business address.
